The RSS feed is for people who use LiveJournal. LiveJournal puts all of my friends' LiveJournal entries on one page where I can read them all together. Anything that doesn't show up on my LiveJournal friends page, I usually forget to read. The RSS feed checks when she updates her Blogger and puts the entries on my LiveJournal friends page with all my other friends' entries. So, it's a convenience thing for us LiveJournal users who are sad that she didn't return to her LiveJournal as her primary blog.
